For 56 years, the Israeli regime has unlawfully occupied the West Bank, home to approximately three million Palestinians, in violation of international law, while also subjecting the Gaza Strip to become the world's largest open-air prison. For 16 years, it has held over 2 million Palestinians in this area as hostages. Palestinian women and children have endured years of violence, detention, and torture by the Israeli regime, yet the world remains unresponsive to these atrocities. * We urge supporters of the Israeli regime not to repeat past mistakes and to take action to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip. This regime has been conducting airstrikes on residential areas, resulting in the loss of numerous civilian lives, including 140 Palestinian children in recent bombings. Simultaneously, the Zionist regime has cut off the water supply to Palestinians and blocked the entry of essential supplies, fuel, food, and humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. Such a comprehensive siege and the bombing of residential buildings by the Israeli regime, aimed at causing starvation and death, constitute a war crime according to the UN Charter. * The recent decisions and actions of the Palestinian resistance are based on the fundamental principle of self-determination and serve as a legitimate response to seven decades of oppressive occupation and numerous crimes committed by the Israeli regime. The Islamic Republic of Iran expresses solidarity with the Palestinians in their pursuit to reclaim their rights and supports the efforts of resistance groups and the oppressed Palestinian people in their relentless quest for their inherent and inalienable rights against occupation and aggression. However, it is important to note that Iran is not involved in the Palestinians' responses. The Palestinians themselves decide how to respond to the occupation and the crimes of the Zionists. The Islamic Republic of Iran's support for Palestine aligns with international law and the United Nations Charter, including the principle of the right to self-determination. This position will remain unwavering until the end of the occupation of Palestine.
